Our Purpose
The Denver CMA's purpose is congruent with the Catholic Medical Association and is:
1. To uphold the principles of Catholic faith and morality as related to the science and practice of medicine.
2. To cooperate in leading the Christian community, especially with the particular medical expertise and experience of the Catholic physicians, to understand, develop, and apply Christ's principles of faith and morality to modern medical science and practice.
3. To lead the Christian community in the work of communicating Catholic medical ethics to the medical profession and the community-at-large.
4. To uphold Catholic hospitals in the application of Catholic moral principles in medical practice.
5. To provide faith and conscience formation as it relates to the practice of Medicine.
6. To offer educational programs that support spiritual growth and moral leadership.
7. To provide a venue for Catholic physicians and allied health professionals fellowship.
8. To support each other in maintaining core Catholic values in our daily professional lives.

Dr. Megan Woodward's speciality is OB/GYN.  She has just completed a one year internship with Dr. Hilgers at the Pope Paul VI Institute in Omaha.  She is returning to Denver and will be in practice at Integrated OB/GYN in Parker, CO.    Mass will be in the Christ the King Chapel at 6:30 pm; our guest speaker will present at 7:30 pm in Bonfils Hall

Wednesday September 15 Meeting
Dr. John Volk is a Family Practice physician at Sunrise Community Health in Evans, CO.
