| Benefits of Becoming a Member |
| Being a member at any level of our Denver CMA guild bestows many benefits. First, and foremost, members have ready access to the sacraments of confession and the eucharist before each meeting. Opening our minds and our hearts to God’s infinite mercy, love and grace allows us to better inform our consciences before we dive into the often-times difficult medical ethical dilemmas that we discuss during the meeting. Secondly, getting to know other Catholics in the healthcare field can provide wonderful opportunities to share our experiences of walking with Jesus as we care for our patients. I have found such interactions to be a source of great encouragement as I try to discern the will of God, especially at work. There are also many outreach opportunities to help the medically underserved in our community. Participating in outreach allows us to deepen our faith and helps us understand just how much God loves us. These are just a few of the many benefits of becoming a member. |
