Membership
Membership is open to any Catholic healthcare professional or clergy. There are four categories of membership:
  • Board of Directors - Catholic physicians, either M.D. or D.O., who pay annual dues of $300 to the national CMA.  Only members from this group are eligible to be officers of the Denver Guild.
  • Physician Members - Catholic physicians, either M.D. or D.O..  It was decided that these members are responsible for paying $200 annually to the the local Denver Guild.  This group is not eligible to become officers of the local Guild, but they are always welcome to join the national CMA and become board members.
  • Associate Members - Those Catholics who hold a medical or academic doctoral degree (other than M.D. or D.O.), such as, DDS,DMD,DPM,PhD in medical science.  It was decided that this group is responsible for paying $100 annually to the local Denver Guild.
  • Affiliate Members - Those who participate in health care delivery, or are in training therefore, and do not meet the qualifications for Physician Member or Associate member.  In addition, those wishing to support the Catholic Medical Association in upholding the principles of the Catholic faith in the science and practice of medicine are eligible to be Affiliate members of the Denver.  It was decided that this group is responsible for paying $50 annually to the local Denver Guild.
  • While these categories are necessary for governance purposes, ALL MEMBERS of our Denver Guild are vital to our mission and a spirit of inclusion and collaboration is what we all desire.  Our wish is that all members get involved and share their ideas at anytime.

To sign-up, simply go to the "Contact Us" section of the main menu and send us an e-mail with your information and we will add you to our e-mail list and membership roster.
